NSFP is a family owned business, operating in the Australian forestry sector since 1924 that produces a diverse range of kiln dried Tasmania Oak timber and heating pellets.
The past 12 months has been challenging for NSFP, both due to the January 2019 Bushfires forcing the closure of our Southwood Green Mill for five months and now the emerging Covid-19 situation.
Despite this, NSFP remains in a strong position to supply you in the short, medium and most importantly the long-term.
We have a large stockpile and reserves of high quality Tasmanian Oak in air-dried racks and finished goods at our Mowbray (Tasmanian) and Dandenong (Victorian) operations.
Over the past 12 months we have broadened our product range and now more than ever, represent a one-stop-shop for decorative hardwood products.
We have large stock holdings of all products at our Tasmanian and Victorian Distribution centres, now including fine mouldings.
Despite the challenges of the past 12 months and the current Covid-19 situation, NSFP remains in a strong position to meet all of your decorative hardwood requirements.

In all cases we make the health and wellbeing of our customers and employees the number one priority.
As such we have promptly adopted all government advice on sanitation, social distancing and have a number of key team members currently working from home. Despite this we are all very much available and on-hand to assist with your requirements.
We have also placed restrictions on store visits by our account managers and merchandisers while the Covid-19 risk remains.
We have contingencies already in place with work teams and the flexibility to maintain continuous and timely supply from both our Dandenong (Victoria) and Mowbray (Tasmania) distribution centres.
NSFP will continue to ensure the health and wellbeing of its customers and employees in strict adherence to all government guidelines.
NSFP action plan - Covid 19
We are aware that demand for timber and building products has increased significantly in the past 2-3 weeks largely due to the CV-19 situation. On this basis NSFP has “front ended” its Victorian & Tasmanian operations in order to meet the increased demand and facilitate the prompt completion of projects for trade & DIY customers. To this end we have positioned a number of our Southwood (Southern Tasmanian) team at our Mowbray (Northern Tasmanian) moulding mill & distribution facility to fast track final production and expedite deliveries nationally.
